Hawaii Music Awards

The Hawaii Music Awards are a people's choice award program founded in 1996. The awards are organized and managed by the Music Foundation of Hawaii.

13th: 2010 Hawaii Music Awards
The nominees for the 13th Annual Hawaii Music Awards for best recordings and artists of 2009 are expected to be announce in December of 2009 and the winners are expected to be announced in February of 2010.

12th: 2009 Hawaii Music Awards
The winners of the 12th Annual Hawaii Music Awards for best recordings and artists of 2008 will be announced in February of 2009. The awards will be presented at an award banquet in April of 2009.

11th: 2008 Hawaii Music Awards Ceremony
The winners of the 11th Annual Hawaii Music Awards for best recordings and artists of 2007 were announced in February of 2008. The awards will be presented at an awards ceremony in May of 2008.

10th: 2007 Hawaii Music Awards Ceremony
The awards ceremony for the 10th Annual Hawaii Music Awards took place on March 23, 2007 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort. The awards presented in 2008 were for the best recordings of 2007.

9th: 2006 Hawaii Music Awards Ceremony
The 9th Annual Hawaii Music Awards honored the best music recordings and artists of 2005. The winners, selected by public vote, were announced in February of 2006 and the awards ceremony was held in March of 2006.

8th: 2005 Hawaii Music Awards Ceremony
The 8th Annual Hawaii Music Awards honored the best music recordings and artists of 2004. The winners, selected by public vote, were announced in February of 2005 and the awards ceremony was held in April of 2005.

7th: 2004 Hawaii Music Awards Ceremony
The 7th Annual Hawaii Music Awards honored the best music recordings and artists of 2003. The winners, selected by public vote, were announced in February of 2004 and the awards ceremony was held in April of 2004.

6th: 2003 Hawaii Music Awards Ceremony
All of the winners of the 6th Annual Hawaii Music Awards. The 6th Hawaii Music Awards were a people's choice award for the best music recordings and artists of 2002. The awards ceremony for the event was held in 2003.

5th: 2002 Hawaii Music Awards Ceremony
The 5th Annual Hawaii Music Awards honored the best music recordings and artists of 2001. The winners, selected by public vote, were announced in February of 2002 and the awards ceremony was held in April of 2002 at Kapono's Restaurant in the Aloha Tower Marketplace.

4th: 2000 Hawaii Music Awards Ceremony
The 4th Annual Hawaii Music Awards honored the best music recordings and artists of 2000. The winners were announced at a concert and awards ceremony in the Blaisdell Concert Hall on November 22, 2000.

3rd: 1999 Hawaii Music Awards Ceremony
The 3rd Annual Hawaii Music Awards honored the best music recordings and artists of 1999. The awards ceremony was held in the Blaisdell Arena on November 21, 1999.

2nd: 1998 Hawaii Music Awards Ceremony
The winners of the 2nd Annual Hawaii Music Awards were announced at an awards ceremony held at the Hawaii Theater on Sunday, April 26, 1998.

1st: 1996 Hawaii Music Awards Ceremony
The First Annual Hawaii Music Awards were announced at an awards ceremony on Sunday, November 24, 1996 at the Hawaii Theatre Center.
