Birth Date: November 17, 1955
Won a Waikiki Shell Slack Key Guitar Contest in 1979
Released his first album in 1980: Nahenahe (Hula)
Formed a group called the Kipapa Rush Band
In 1985 the band recorded "Hardly Working (Kahanu)
That album won the group a 1986 Most Promising Artist Hoku Award
In 1986 George Kuo joined the Sons of Hawaii
George's solo album "Aloha No Na Kupuna" won 1996 Best Instrumental Hoku Award
