  • His family heritage is Hawaiian, Filipino, and Spanish
  • His specialties are Hawaiian falsetto singing and playing Hawaiian slack key guitar, Hawaiian ukulele, and upright bass.
  • In 2007 Steve received the Hawaii Music Award for New Artist of the Year.
