Master of the Hawaiian Steel Guitar
This picture of master Hawaiian steel guitar player
Bobby Ingano was taken in February of 2009 in Manhattan
Beach, Southern California, where Bobby gave a steel guitar workshop
and later performed in a concert with a group fellow Grammy nominated
musicians from Hawaii. Bobby can occasionally be seen performing
with George Kuo, Martin Pahinui, and Aaron Mahi during their
"Slack Key Sunday" evening performance at the Marriott Waikiki Hotel.

Facts About Bobby Ingano
Birth Date; December 17, 1952
Birth Place: Lanai City, Island of Lanai, Hawaii
In 1959 his family moved to Honolulu on Oahu Island
He had Polio when he was about 7 or 8 years old
He spent much of the next 10 years in the hospital
His first instrument was the ukulele
As a teen he loved playing blues and was in his high school band
He works at Tamashiro's Market
