2004 Oahu Falsetto Contest

Announcement, photos, and results of the September 2004 Aloha Festivals Falsetto Contest on the island of Oahu in Hawaii.

The 10th annual Frank B. Shaner Hawaiian Falsetto Contest took place on September 11, 2004 in the Hawaii Ballroom of the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel.

In 2004 the contest moved from the Hawaii Theatre to the Sheraton Waikiki. (Note that Frank B Shaner left KINE 105.1 FM radio station morning show in 2004 and I think the name of the contest was changed in 2004 from the Frank B Shaner Falsetto Contest to the Aloha Festivals Aloha Festival Contest on Oahu) In 2004 a "Best Hawaiian Language Performance" category was added to the contest.
