Father: James Ah You Ho (aka James A.J. Ho)

Mother - Emily L. Ho (maiden name Silva, known as "Honey")

Don Ho had 7 brothers and sisters.

Grew Up In Kaneohe. Was a high school foot ball star.

Married Melva May Kolokea Wong, November 22, 1951

Married Haumea Hebenstreit, the producer of his Waikiki show, in 2006

Don Ho had 10 children including six with his first wife Melva May Ho, two with singer Patricia Swallie Choy (Hoku Ho and Kaimana Ho) and two with singer Elizabeth Guevara (Kea Ho and Lea Lii Ho). Hoku was born on June 10, 1981 on Oahu.

Ethnic Heritage: Chinese, Hawaiian, Portuguese, Dutch, German

Education: 1 year at Springfield College in Massachusetts. BS in Sociology from the University of Hawaii.
