They will also perform two concerts at the Shannon Center for the Performing Arts in Whittier, Southern California. Every year the Honolulu Zoo hosts a series of summer concerts that take place almost every Wednesday evening, from mid-June to mid-August. Past 2009 concerts featured Simplity, Maunalua, John Cruz, Roy Sakuma, and the Hot Club of Hulaville. Performers during the remainder of the summer will include Manoa DNA on July 15, Rolando Sanchez and Salsa Hawaii on July 22, Jake Shimabukuro on July 29, Natalie Ai Kamauu on August 5, and Jimmy Borges and His All Star Jazz Band on August 12.
