2008 Wine Country Ukulele Festival
The first annual Wine Country Ukulele Festival will be held in Northern California's Napa Valley October 9-11, 2008. Performers and instructors will include Herb Ohta, Jr., Keoki Kahumoku, Robyn Mehealani, James Hill, Ralph Shaw, and others.

New Southern California Hawaiian Falsetto Festival
The first annual Aloha Falsetto Festival of Southern California will take take place Sunday, July 13, 2008 at 2:00 pm, at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center in Southern California. Featured entertainers will include Raiatea Helm, Gary Haleamau, Steven Espaniola, Ryan Souza, Jeff Peterson, Abraham Lagrimas, Jr, and Hoku Zuttermeister, who swept the Na Hoku Hanohano Award in 2008 by winning Best Album, Best Hawaiian Album, Best Male Vocalist, Best Hawaiian Language Performance, Best Liner Notes, and Most Promising New Artist Awards.
